What foods would you like to make?
I’m a baker not a chef but if I could master that skill, I would bake Rice Balls. An old Italian favorite that my grandmother not only made but showed me how to cook before she passed. Her broken Italian accent was a slight language barrier while teaching me the art of rice balls but my attention space won out and I just couldn’t master the art. The end result? A flat fried rice with eggs that had more oil than the Valdez spill. My grandmother grew like a potato (in the ground) but put oil on everything. My aunt still makes them for me and they are my most cherished dish to say “I love you”. Hopefully one day soon I can learn how to do it on my own and share with the ones I love. ❤️
