What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
The most important thing is sleep and maintaining a schedule so my body gets the needed rest to function. I try to keep toxic people away as well so my circle is very small but that’s ok. Also, I try to go near the ocean and get clear air to clear my head at least once a month if not more. I eat pretty clean but do indulge but only buy Trader Joe’s foods so that I know that the food is free of added poison. I’m not looking for perfection in anything in life because that causes much too much stress. I only take care of me so that’s a lot less stress as well. I use Olay on my face and good products that make me feel good. Oh and laughter, that’s a must. I always look at the bright side of things and try to play devils advocate when needed. Also, setting boundaries and being blunt is kinda my thing since I’m a Saggitarius who happens to be Italian. My Sicilian side doesn’t taste like the pizza it’s very sassy and cheesy. Lastly, I make puns all the time to laugh at life and keep it in perspective. We all share the same day but we all deal with it differently so use your energy wisely since we all see the same sunrise and sunsets so be as little or as much productive as you can be and learn to be thankful and gracious because hopefully tomorrow you get another day.
