Funny Follows Me

I never got married and my parents have been married over 60 years. I’ve come close to engagement after a 5 year long relationship but it was not meant to be.

I always told the universe that at 50 I would consider marriage but I never truly wanted children. I wanted a dog and a husband but would make sure I was clear with my prayer I would say, “Dear Lord send me a good husband and a dog but don’t mix it up and send me a dog of a husband”. Setting clear intentions are necessary to get what you want in life.

God does listen but my parents will never understand that true happiness does not require marriage. As long as you have respect and make that person a better person than that is love.

Until I found self love for myself, I never truly was ready for another relationship. I think to even out the universe, if I never get married well J. Lo took my 2 or 3 divorces so she could find happiness. 🤣🦋
