I’m curious to see how big my kidney stones grew this year with the hottest July on record. I’ve had them for over 10 years and had 2 operations. Calcium Oxalate are the kind I have and no matter how much coconut water helps me to reduce them, I had an attack the last 2 days that remind me that my yearly appointment is in weeks.

The last cake I made was a kidney stone cake for my doctor 7 years ago. He loved it and I thought I was done after surgery with stones. Not the case. Dehydration causes stones and my kinda are caused by spinach, chocolate and oxalates which clearly are not labeled on foods 🤣

So I’m curious to see if my stones grew to the point of another operation and a slip and slide stent which lets the stones slide out of you with less pain.

So let the countdown begin til my next scan. I stopped naming my stones Chip and Dale when 7 more formed. To anyone who has them, I feel your pain!
