Funny Follows Me

My favorite hobby or pastime is baking my annual Christmas pizzelles as thank you gifts. I started it way back when I was about 16 and do much less but try to do at least a few batches every year. It makes me feel good to see people’s reaction to getting the cookies and it makes the holidays feel complete.

One year I was so late that I called them, New Year’s Eve cookies and that didn’t really vibe well since people had indulged over the holidays.

Now I make sure when Dec. 1 hits I am prepared to start baking. This way the first indulgere people receive are my cookies and their notch on their belts hasn’t moved yet.
