What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

That’s an easy one. December has my birthday, Christmas, and the high chance of snowfall which I love.

December is the only month that we feel so much stress and anxiety from Holiday shopping yet it also contains the high vibration of love and joy. This is why couples choose to get engaged at Christmas; to share their love with the family.

For me, the holiday decorations make me feel like I am 5 year old and at my grandmothers house just staring at her decorations. She would take clothes pins and pin ornaments that light up or were a rich deep red against her green curtains. Her house was magic. The feel was magic and I took that feeling with me and often visualize that living room draped with decorations.

When your young and short, you see Christmas through big eyes and short legs. Every year, I get joy from seeing others decorate and my decorating.

I decorate everything including my car. For years, I had reindeer ears up on my car before they became popular.

Call me Ms. Claus but don’t be mistaken that at 50, you can be a kid at heart and enjoy decorations and the whole month of December.

Last Christmas we lost my Aunt and had a horrible Christmas, so this year it’s back to celebrating and learning that watching Hallmark movies can exponentially increase your joy level.

Taylor Swift had a song back to December. When I hear it, my heart grows with love.
